Data deletion policy

How to ask Rahman Capital to delete personal data from enquiries and case records we control — and what we may need to retain.

Last updated: 4 November 2026 (Asia/Kuala_Lumpur)

1. Purpose

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data processed by Rahman Capital in connection with this website and financing enquiries, consistent with Malaysia’s PDPA and ordinary business needs. See also Privacy and PDPA notice.

2. What you can ask us to delete

  • WhatsApp / messaging enquiry threads we store or export for follow-up
  • Documents and notes you sent for a property screen (title extracts, SPA pages, auction notices, identity copies) held in our advisory files
  • Contact details in our enquiry lists where no active engagement remains

3. What we cannot delete for you (or only partially)

  • Data held by licensed funders, valuers, or solicitors after an introduction — request deletion directly from those parties under their policies
  • WhatsApp / Meta platform copies on your device or in Meta’s systems — manage those in the WhatsApp / Meta apps and their settings
  • Hosting / CDN logs retained by infrastructure providers for security and operations (typically short-lived and not used as a CRM)
  • Anonymised or aggregated statistics that no longer identify you

4. How to request deletion

  1. WhatsApp +601154184453
  2. Open with Data deletion request
  3. Include: your full name, the phone number(s) / email used to contact us, approximate enquiry date, and property reference if any
  4. We may ask for reasonable verification before acting

5. Timing

We aim to acknowledge requests within 7 days and complete deletion or explain retention within 30 days where practicable. Complex cases (e.g. multiple threads, live funder introductions) may take longer; we will say so.

6. Retention exceptions

We may decline or delay full deletion where we must retain data to:

  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
  • Meet accounting, tax, or regulatory obligations
  • Complete an active introduction or transaction you asked us to progress (until that matter is closed)
  • Comply with a lawful request from authorities

Where we retain data under an exception, we will limit use to that purpose and delete or anonymise when the exception no longer applies.

7. After deletion

Once deleted from systems we control, we generally cannot restore the same records. Future contact will be treated as a new enquiry. Backup media may take a further cycle to age out.
